The Institute of Biology and Ecology comprises four departments: Evolúciós Állattani és Humánbiológiai Tanszék, Hidrobiológiai Tanszék, Növénytani Tanszék és Ökológiai Tanszék. The Departments and the research groups within the Departments form the framework of the Institute's scientific work. In the last five years, the Institute has published almost 400 scientific publications, most of which (69%) have been published in the leading (Q1) scientific journals in the fields we cover. The Institute's researchers also regularly publish in world-renowned journals such as Nature, Science, Proceedings of Royal Society and Ecology Letters.
